Grillin' Steakhouse, the
Valley's only grill-your own restaurant, has converted a portion of
its building to a banquet facility capable
of seating 300. Bill and Deb Verhagen, who have
been providing great steaks, fish and yes,
the grills, for their customers for the past six
years.
Over the past six years there has been a clamoring for them to use
their beautiful, modern
facility to hold larger banquets and
wedding parties. The banquet room has a private bar,
private entrance and a built-in dance
floor. The facility is also available during the day for
corporate breakfast or luncheon meetings.
“We decided that there was a market for
banquets and weddings and that our facility
matched the needs of our customers," Deb
Verhagen said. “So after
investigating and researching the merits of the idea we
decided to convert part of our restaurant
to hold larger banquets and/or weddings. The
idea has been well received."
Executive Chef Matt Kramer, formerly of Gulliver’s Grill
has joined the staff with 10 years of
banquet experience. He is sure to provide the expertise
needed to hold a quality event.
While Grillin’ is excited about the new markets
they are getting into, they also want to remind
their customers that they will still be open
Tuesdays through Saturdays from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
with daily features, Friday fish, a sandwich menu
and homemade pizzas. The menus are
newly revised with custom plating options.
